%X In the era of Internet, the problem of disclosure and abuse of personal medical information is becoming more and more serious. Medical information security has encountered enormous challenges. The security protection of personal medical information is inspected from the perspective of comparative law. Medical information and medical privacy as well as information right and privacy right should be distinguished in the choice of legal protection mode, and medical information should be included in the adjustment of information right. It must be clear that the collection and use of personal information should follow the principles of security safeguard, informed consent, the lowest limit, and usability. The specific protection methods of medical information include improving relevant legislation, strengthening the supervision of the administrative department, and the self-regulation of the industry.
