%0 Journal Article %A MA Yue %A YUAN Chun-Hui %T Impact of E-commerce Poverty Alleviation on Economic #br# Development in Chinas Underdeveloped Regions#br# —Empirical Study Based on Panel Data of 31 Provinces in China from 2012 to 2018 %D 2020 %R 10.19722/j.cnki.10087729.2020.0039 %J Journal of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications(Social Sciences Edition) %P 39-47 %V 22 %N 3 %X In order to explore the influencing mechanism and effect of e-commerce poverty alleviation, the Stata fixed effect analysis method is used based on statistical yearbook data to analyze the impact of current policies on the economic level of various indicators of e-commerce poverty alleviation in poverty-stricken areas in China, and poverty alleviation suggestions are also put forward. It is found that, the broadband access rate, the average number of computers per capita, the sales of e-commerce and the number of people served by a single outlet in the poor provinces can significantly affect the economic development level of economically underdeveloped regions, and e-commerce poverty alleviation has got good results. It also provides reference for governments at all levels to promote poverty alleviation from the perspectives of promoting regional e-commerce development, ensuring industrial economy driven by e-commerce, and ensuring poor subjects involved. %U https://journalsk.bupt.edu.cn/EN/10.19722/j.cnki.10087729.2020.0039
