%X In order to deeply promote the construction of smart campus, the background, status, problems and methods of the application of smart campus in ideological and political work in universities are comprehensively analyzed. Through practice, a diversified information platform of smart campus has been built, which includes building a comprehensive, multi-dimensional and dynamic information platform for the evaluation of students’ overall quality based on the concept of “five kinds of education”; developing data panels, optimizing work and management platforms of instructors and establishing the early warning analysis platform. All of these measures have greatly enriched the ways of collection and application of relevant data, promoted the innovative development of ideas, methods, content and forms in ideological and political work and provided effective working methods for all-round growth and development of students. It has also realized the goal of advancing the development of ideological and political education work by smart campus platform while improved the education system in universities.
